School History

Coral Primary School opened its gate to welcome its pioneer group of students in January 1999 at the holding school, White Sands Primary at Pasir Ris Street 11. In 2000, Coral Primary moved to its present premises at Pasir Ris Street 51.
The school was officially opened by RAdm Teo Chee Hean, then Minister for Education and Second Minister for Defence and MP for Pasir Ris GRC on 28 April 2001. The current Principal, Ms Chong Siew Fong took over the Principalship on December 2013. The Vice Principal, Mdm Asrinah Asahari joined the school on 15 December 2012.

Coral Primary strongly believes in laying a firm foundation in our students “To Learn and Grow” as embodied in our school motto. Myriad of engaging and customized programmes are designed for our Coralites to intrigue their curious minds and develop their social and emotional competencies. The nurturing school environment provides the setting for Character and Citizenship Education (CCE) to take centrestage with the whole-school approach to values, character and citizenship education.

Parents who are our key partners also give the school their strong support to develop their children holistically. The strong relationship built with the parents facilitates the school to effectively design and implement engaging programmes and activities for our Coralites.
