Cyber Wellness @ Coral

“Cyber wellness refers to the positive well-being of Internet users. It involves an understanding of online behaviour and awareness of how to protect oneself in cyberspace. ” - MOE, Cyber Wellness Working Committee

Parents can play a part in the cyber wellness education by being aware of the risks related to online communication and involved in their child's online activities. Below are some resources to equip parents with the necessary knowledge and tools to achieve and enjoy cyber wellness.

Parents can now download a new mobile game app, C-Quest, and have conversations on cyber wellness with their children. Developed by the Ministry of Education and targeted at parents with children aged 10 to 14, C-Quest is specially designed to facilitate meaningful parent-child conversations on their online experiences. Through the game, students will also learn to be safe, respectful, and responsible users of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

The mobile version of C-Quest can be downloaded from the iTunes Store and Google Play while the browser-based version is accessible from this link.

MOE Cyber Wellness Portal

This material will give parents greater awareness on the topic of Cyber Wellness so that they can advise their children on ways to keep themselves safe while surfing the web at home or at school.

 B4U Surf
